This six month program integrates Ayurveda, Chinese and Western herbalism. It is designed for those who have the basics of Herbology and want to deepen their understanding of Herbalism and applying it in a clinical setting.
Topics for this program will include:
- Rebuilding the digestive system including topics such as celiac disease, ulcers, IBS.
- Managing chronic disease; Herbs/supplements to manage pain; How to move stagnant blood and chi’ Working with asthma and lung problems.
- Metabolic disorder and type 11 diabetes
- Creating your own herbal pharmacy. How to go about doing this; different ways to administer herbs; tinctures, powders, pastes, hand/food baths, soups, teas etc.
- High Sierra plant id walk.
- Seeing clients and protocol for intakes
- Course material will be sent out before the first class so that the students can prepare for the program. There will be a full course pack given to each student on the first weekend.
